I like the song but I really wish it actually WAS about dinosaurs rather than just random stuff because I actually DO love dinosaurs and plan to be a paleontologist for a living and did you know I visited Sierra College and got to see all the fossils of prehistoric animals that the students found? I even met famous paleontologist and professor, Richard Hilton, who teaches at the college. My favorite dinosaur is Saurophaganax. I also like rock and metal music. :)

JDawg00100 responds:

That's actually really cool! I had an old friend that wanted to be a paleontologist when he was a kid but his parents made him do other things

rock on! /m/ This song is awesome. God bless rock music

I actually don't listen to a ton of rock music anymore. What I am really into is when people mix metal with rock or jazz, or pretty much whatever genres they want. One band that does that is Between The Buried And Me. I think I could listen to them for the rest of my life and never get sick of it. Maybe not that extreme since I listen to a lot of other bands but 20 years from now I can see myself listening to them. They are so good.

OMG This song blew my brains out o_o rock on! xD

This song's okay but I preferred Wrath of the Wyverns over this. But anyways, rock on Vaniardur/ Deimosian!

GraveDigger87 responds:

Hey thanks for checking us out!

Great song! It sounds like Black Sabbath's "Behind the Wall of Sleep" from their 1970 debut record. I enjoy a variety of music so I'll have to check out Anti, Darkthrone, Triptykon, and Lake of Tears because I've never heard of them. I do know Celtic Frost and I like metal, honestly they aren't my favorite :/

What other heavy metal bands do you like and what other genres of music do you like besides metal?

I i like rock, metal, classical, opera, jazz, R&B, soul, funk, rap, reggae, ska, country and a little bit of electronica

Here are my top fav black metal, gothic and doom metal bands. Do you know any of them?

1. Christian Death
2. Bahaus
3. Siouxsie and the Banshees
4. Mercyful Fate
5. Scum
6. Bathory
7. Venom
8. Hellhammer
9. Danzig
10. Goatwhore
11. Samhain

GraveDigger87 responds:

Of the bands in your list there I'm into Mercyful Fate, Bathory, Venom, and Hellhammer. For the most part I just like metal. I do enjoy some classical and dungeon synth sometimes. And I of course like the music my friend who worked on this song with me makes. He makes a variety of music; he does some folk in a project called Halindir, some electronic experimental stuff in a project called Buubdurub, and some heavy metal in a project called Vaniardur. So between the two of us there is probably quite a variety of stuff influencing this song.

Triptykon is the band Tom G Warrior of Celtic Frost formed after he disbanded Celtic Frost. The last Celtic Frost album "Monotheist" and Triptykon are very similar. Celtic Frost has a lot of different stuff in their discography; for this song I was thinking more of that last album. I think you can see Celtic Frost's final era and Triptykon as one unit; it's Tom G Warrior doing the same thing but working with different musicians. So I'm considering it as one influence.

Anti did a split album called "Gott In Uns" and contributed one long song called "Beatam Mortem Expectans" which I think is an absolutely beautiful piece of art. As far as I know that is the last thing they recorded and I think they reached their peak with that song. Highly recommended if you like the feel of our song here.

Did I answer your question? I have a larger list of favourite bands on my profile here.

IMHO the genres this song fits in are electro industrial, power noise, electronica, EDM, and hardcore techno

It's a great song. I think I'll add lyrics to it next time and send you message!

Goodbye for now!

I'd love to hear it!

This sounds like In Flames

"A repetitive track for zoning out"- TasteLeRainbow

Well said buddy ;)

Beautiful song! I don't think it's cheesy at all! It doesn't make think of rainbows but it makes me think of a beautiful beach with eggshell sand and Bottlenose dolphins. Are you actually playing the viola and recorded this? Or did you use Garageband or whatever music making program you use on your computer? Either way great modern composition! xD

Cockadoodledee responds:

Nah I just recorded it on cubase with Kontakt stuff. It was more to test out chord progressions and such but to be able to play the viola would be absolutely magical! Thank you very much for the kind words!

Since I have a diverse taste in music (yes I like country) I must say that this song is great! Really suits me.
